How long does shipping take?

Unless you purchased a product through pre-order or backorder, orders typically take between 1-2 business days to process. Once we ship out your order, we’ll send you an email with all the deets: shipping confirmation, tracking number, etc. Standard domestic shipping takes 3-7 business days, and international shipping outside of the USA takes 5-10 business days.



What does shipping cost? Do you offer free shipping?

Domestic Shipping:

Standard domestic shipping (3-7 business days) is FREE when you spend $50 or more! Shipping cost is $7.99 for orders under $50.

*Your order subtotal must be $50 USD after discounts and before taxes to qualify for free domestic standard shipping. Once you enter your address at checkout, your shipping costs will auto populate.

International Shipping:

International shipping outside of the USA can take 5-10 business days dependent on your location.

Please enter your address at checkout to calculate your international shipping fees.

Delivered, but not received?

All orders come with a tracking number included in your shipping confirmation email!

If the tracking information was confirmed delivered by the carrier, but you did not receive your order, we recommend that you first check with your neighbors to make sure it was not mis-delivered and also check with your local post office for more information.

Daycen Hair will not be held liable for lost or stolen packages after they have left our fulfillment center or where tracking information states that the package has been delivered to your order address, but not received.

If you still haven't received your order after 2 business days from the delivery date, please contact us at support@daycen.com and we will be happy to help further.

Help! I want to change my order!

Please contact support@daycen.com immediately with your order number and the changes you'd like to make to your order. Although we cannot guarantee that we'll catch your order in time before it enters the fulfillment process, we will try our absolute best to make the requested changes.

Kindly note that once an order enters fulfillment at our warehouse, or has been shipped, we no longer have the ability to make any changes to it.

My order was missing an item?

All items are scanned as they are placed into our parcel bags to prevent errors, but in rare instances sometimes parcels can be damaged during transit causing rips or tears. If you believe you have received an incomplete order with item(s) missing, please get in touch with our Customer Care Team, quoting your full name, order number and photos of your parcel and the item(s) you have received when doing so - and they will be more than happy to assist further.

My parcel arrived damaged, help!

All items are quality checked prior to dispatch, but in rare instances sometimes parcels can be heavy handled during transit. If you believe you have received a damaged item, please get in touch with our Customer Care Team, quoting your full name, order number and photos of the product when doing so - and they will be more than happy to assist further.

Are returns fee?

If it is a product quality problem, we will unconditionally pay the return shipping fee. If it is for personal reasons, you need to pay the return shipping fee. A 9.87$ deduction will be applied to your refund to cover the cost of the return. You are more than welcome to return the parcel to us via your own means, however we recommend opting for a Tracked method of postage when doing so, just for your peace of mind.

How do I return my product??

Please email support@daycen.com with your order number, reason why, and indicate if it’s a return, exchange, or store credit. We will reply with return instructions.

*Please note: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We suggest that you send your package with a tracking number as we cannot take responsibility for lost returns.

Returns/exchanges must be sent within 10 days of receiving the RMA form.

What is the Daycen Hair return policy?

We want to make sure you love what you buy! We offer free returns for 30 days on all eligible items and free exchanges for 90 days. Items must be unopened with all tags attached.

When will my return or exchange be processed?

As soon as we have received your return, we will notify you via email and carry out all necessary actions. Please note whilst we strive to process all returns as quickly as possible on arrival, this could take up to 3 working days. Returns are processed in date order and so there is no way to locate or identify an individual return until this is processed by the Returns Team and scanned into the system. Once the return is processed and refund issued, you will be notified by email directly from our Returns Team.

Can you dye the hair?

As our Synthetic Hair Extensions are made from a premium mono-fibre material, we highly advise against using any hair dyes, as this could potentially damage the hair and is unlikely to take to the fibres.
We pride ourselves in stocking a vast array of over 15 salon colors - from bombshell blondes to the richest chocolate brown and sleek black shades. Don’t worry too much if we don’t have your shade available, we are always striving to expand our product and shade range - so we hope to cater to your hair color in the near future!

How long do they last?

With proper care and washing regimen, hair pieces can last for months or even years depending on how frequent they are worn. Generally, with every day wear, synthetic hair pieces will last 4-6 months and heat-friendly synthetic hair pieces will last 2-3 months. Blended human hair pieces will last 6+ months while human hair pieces will last over 1 year with proper care.

How do i reduce knotting?

Synthetic Hair Extensions can sometimes be prone to knotting if you haven’t adhered to our Care Instructions fully. Using the appropriate hair brushes and techniques is extremely important to prevent tangling and knotting. Please refer to our full Care Guide for further informations.

How do i wash my extensions?

We recommend washing your hair extensions every 6-8 wears using the appropriate product for synthetic or human hair. Extensions don’t accumulate oils the way our natural hair does so washing it more often than this can weather the fibers and damage your extensions. The best way to wash your extensions is by gathering all the hair strands together into one ponytail. Then run the ponytail under lukewarm water. Squirt a nickel size worth of shampoo into your palm and lather into hair. If needed, rinse and repeat until the shampoo begins to lather. Next, apply conditioner combing it through the hair using a wide tooth comb to distribute the product evenly and rinse again. Finally, we recommend letting your extensions air dry by using a hanger.

How should i go about choosing color?

If you've found the style and piece you like, but can't decide what your best color match would be, we recommend contacting our Client Care Representatives. You can send a picture of your hair (in various lightings) to our Representatives, and they can examine your pictures and let you know your closest hair color match.

Do you sell human hair or synthetic hair?

Our hair pieces come in all varieties of hair fiber types including: synthetic hair, heat-friendly synthetic hair, human hair

What are the different types of attachment methods?

There are many methods of attachment to help secure the hair in place such as clips, wraps, and combs.

  • Pressure Sensitive Clips-are small metal clips that bend in one direction to open, and in the other to close. This attachment method can be found in most types of clip-in hair extensions or hairpieces; they are small in size, lightweight and easy to attach.
  • Straight Comb-has one row of “teeth” designed to slide easily into hair. Mostly commonly used with a secondary attachment method. Some hairpieces, half wigs and falls use both a straight comb and pressure sensitive clip.
  • Hair Wrap-is hair attached to an elastic band. A hair wrap can be used around a ponytail or bun that has been pre-fastened with a ponytail holder or it can be worn by itself.
  • Drawstring-most commonly found in ponytails and bun hairstyles. It becomes tighter and more secure around the hair when pulled taught using an adjustable and flexible drawstring. A drawstring is most commonly used in conjunction with another attachment method such as a straight comb or pressure sensitive clips.
  • Claw Clip-(also called a jaw-clip or butterfly clip) is two rows of “teeth” or combs that are held in position by a spring. They are easily operated and commonly used in ponytail and up-do styles.

What should i keep in mind about heat-friendly synthetic hair?

Heat-friendly hair also allows heat styling (optimal temperature is 250-275 degree). Going above 350 degrees, however, is not recommended. Proper care is vital to keeping heat-friendly hair looking its best. A wide tooth comb should be used when styling (not a brush). It is best to avoid combing while wet. Use of products specially designed for synthetic hair. With proper care, heat-friendly synthetic hair should last up to a few months.
